We were lucky to work with Cory in the beginning of the year as we were doing our house hunt. However, due to the scarcity in the market and our dissatisfaction with the pool of homes in our budget, we decided to pull back and wait after paying for our first inspection. Cory negotiated his best with the sellers agent and at the end of the day we decided that the home was not a right fit for us. Cory was neither pushy nor impatient with us as we pulled out, and as we pulled him left and right and through three different counties from Pierce to Snohomish. We admired his patience and poise when it came to understanding our needs and wants. More importantly, he was real! We’ve purchased a home before and the process was very cut and dry, but Cory made the hunt more informative and gave us perspective with the little details that we did not get our first time around. He made the process fun with his wit and character, which made the process less daunting!
So when we finally decided to jump back in, it was a no brainer that we wanted to work with Cory Burger again! Unfortunately for him we teetered and tottered the same as we did in the beginning. Still, he maintained the same support as he did in round 1 of house hunting, inspections, and negotiations. In fact, even better! In the middle of this hunt we even went on vacation, which we felt bad about, but he went to see the home for us and sent us videos while we were away. We were beginning to think we were difficult people to work with being indecisive and taking vacations in between business. Nonetheless, we trusted him with this process of making judgement calls without us present. Cory was in constant contact with us from start to finish and he thought outside the box when trying to secure our deal that in our minds we already lost. At the end of the day, he seized the opportunity for us with the home that we wanted! Going through the process of closing with Cory was like watching an artist paint a masterpiece or witnessing a magic trick performed before your eyes! The man was skillful, quick on his feet, and just awe inspiring at his craft and passion for helping people! There is no doubt that we will use Cory again! He was amazing from start to finish and we loved working with him! Yes, he may have secured us a great opportunity, but we also got a great friend at closing too!
