Deep river valleys and steep peaks make up the landscape of this truly unique wilderness. The 2015 "Grizzly Bear Complex Fire" fire burned a great deal of the area so trails may be hard be harder to find then they have been in past years, some of the area's bridges are also burned. It is still a amazing place full of life. Just be aware and take precautions when venturing into this wild and beautiful wilderness area.
