This is a nice camp ground, but the bathrooms are terrible. I know that it is an open pit toilet I have used these for years I camped at Wench Creek with my family during the early seventies. The bathrooms were clean and new. At 28 dollars a night it's time to replace the bathrooms. I camp at other camp grounds in Crystal Basin Area the bathrooms are 10 times better than this.

Wench Creek was a lovely campground. However, my complaint would be that the stench from the toilets was unbearable and unusable. If you are in a campground nearby and the wind direction shifts be warned the smell is very unpleasant. We came in on a Sunday and the toilets were not serviced until Wednesday. Hence the reason for only a three ⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating.

One of my all time favorite camping places. The campground is well maintained lots of shade. The lake is clear and beautiful, I could swim all day. It's never over crowded, the lake is huge so it's perfect for boating out jet skiing.
