Good, healthy plants for a great price! Kyle answered all the questions I had, and accurately labeled the Sarracenia plants I purchased, even the ones that are crosses between different types. He’s got a variety of plants of different ages to fit your budget, from year old plants to 10 years. Highly suggest this place!
My girlfriend and I were on vacation in the Portland and Seattle areas, and had made it a point to visit Kyle's nursery during our trip. We had planned to go on a particular day, but the freeway just so happened to flood the night before. So we juggled our schedule and tried again the next day. Least to say, we were determined.
We turned onto a dirt road and drove up his front yard, where he greeted us. As we spoke, we got to learn the story behind his interest in the plants, how he built his nursery, and some of his plans for the nursery's future. Suffice to say, both he and his nursery lived up to the reviews and much more.
Kyle is an incredibly knowledgeable and kind individual, and his passion for carnivorous plants is palpable. Kyle really wants his customers to enjoy the beauty of carnivorous plants and generously does his best to prepare buyers for their new plants. My girlfriend and I walked out with P. Debbertiana, P. Ehlersiae "Santa Catarina," P. 'John Rizzi,' P. 'El Mirador,' P. 'Titan,' and D. Regia. We hope to visit again one day during the summer when all his plants are awake, so we can clear out his nursery once more. If you have any interest in carnivorous plants, we highly recommend a visit to West Coast Carnivorous Nursery!
