Positive: The room and bathrooms were large. The beds were comfortable. In the back was a spectacular view with terraced gardens. Negative: From the curb the front looked dated. After entering the facilities the rooms were spacious and the grounds overlooking the Columbia River were spectacular.

We stayed at Westcliff while visiting friends in Hood River. We sure wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful grounds and incredible view! Our room was spotless and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, nice rooms. Beautiful gardens with lots of flowers.

Rooms are spacious and nice looking. Not great curb appeal when you drive in, but the hotel is nice when you explore the interior. Hard pillows and hard bed though :(.

Bring a mosquito repellent if planned to be outside. Which I recomend to watch the sunset, sipping some wine from the back garden.

Second floor not recommended if you have toddlers.
