Horrendous experience! Paid $335 up-front for a one year contract, with $66 per month for a total of nearly $800 for that year. I set up auto payment so I wouldn't have to receive a bill each month.
My online account showed TWO service contracts: One paid automatically, and one billed each month. Luckily I caught Western's error before I was charged twice for the duplicate service.
Western changed the schedule a couple of times within the first month. They changed days and times. Different techs came over for 2 of the 4 visits. All of them had the gate code for my condo complex and my telephone number.
Final straw came yesterday when the tech didn't show up for his scheduled appointment in the morning, then didn't show up for the rescheduled appointment that afternoon, then no one showed up this morning, and no one showed up this afternoon!
No one knew why the tech didn't show up. After multiple calls, I was told the tech showed up on the afternoon of 07/31/24, but couldn't get into the gated complex. He said he wasn't given the gate code or my phone number. He didn't think of calling Western to get one or other!
9 calls to Western resulted in never getting scheduled for another appointment. I canceled my service contract with them and am getting my money back.
Avoid Western at all costs. They do not keep their scheduled appointments. If they have to change their schedule, they don't send someone the same or next day, you're simply put in the queue. They don't care if the next appointment they make with you is only a couple of days before your next regularly scheduled (and billed for) appointment. It's a company whose left hand doesn't know what it's right hand is doing.
I rarely give one-star reviews, but Western Exterminator, Anaheim division... you suck.
Update after other owner response: No need. Service cancelled. Refund issued.
