DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE
I went in and the lady (approx 5’6”, 180-200lbs, middle aged Caucasian with dark brown shoulder-length hair) proceeded to “jab”, not gently insert the needle into my arm. Then proceeded to twist and move it around for more than a couple of minutes in a vain attempt to pierce my vein. I told her several times in several different ways that she was hurting me. I said, “It hurts”, “Ow, I’ve never felt pain like this before”, “You’re hurting me”, “That hurts a lot” until she finally pulled out the needle and successfully poked my other arm that I’d quickly pulled out to keep her from additional attempts on the other.
My arm was in pain for 9 days from that point, hot and tingling, and I was unable to fully straighten my arm out in that time. My doctor who ordered the blood work said he would order a nerve damage test if my pain did not go away, but thankfully it did.
If anyone has ANY reservations about having their blood drawn, has smaller veins, or are friendly in general, I would STRONGLY suggest that they go to another lab to avoid possible torture from this person. This place is fine otherwise, but as they say, “one bad apple can ruin the whole bunch”.
