Such a great and unique experience! I loved the interactive scavenger hunt and "Where's Wilbur?" in the gift shop. It's a decent size but a fast walk around.

The May Center was an interesting stop. The museum is well curated, flows well and the windows are so clean you can hardly tell they are there. The content of the museum was really difficult for me to process. Sooooo many taxidermied animals. It was a “gentleman’s sport” back in the day, but I didn’t love seeing the 6 sets of ivory elephant tusks and 50 lion rugs all over. What was done is done, so I guess better to display than discard?

The Wilbur D. May Canter Museum is an awesome museum to visit in Reno. It costs only $6 and is fairly small, but has a ton of artifacts and collectibles that Wilbur May collected during his lifetime. There is also alot.of history of Wilbur May and insightful information. Highly recommend visiting if in the area and can easily spend an hour or more in the museum center.
