There is no better place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Not only are these gardens right in the city itself, it’s FREE!
Anyone can visit the gardens. What a great place to take the family. I will be taking my grandparents here. The gardens offer plenty of sunshine, and plenty of shade. They are easily accessible for the handicapped and you can take local transit to get here, if you choose.
There is plenty of space for even large crowds. I did not feel claustrophobic, as I sometimes can, when there are many people around.
The best part was the price of admission. If I had to pay, I would have stayed a lot longer, as I would have felt a need to get my money’s worth. I was able to take an hour from my busy schedule, get some fresh air, look at beautiful flowers, waterfalls and refresh my knowledge of plants and trees of the season. I left feeling rejuvenated and I definitely noticed how unaffected I felt by the traffic on the freeway.
Carve a little time into your schedule and check this place out. The energy here is a win-win, and if you are a local, stop looking at your phone and get to the botanical gardens for some fresh air and enjoy this beautiful city more.
