Great trail, stairs need reset from erosion and the grade is quite steep but variable. Gorgeous views, saw many hummingbirds and bearded lizards, ravens, ground squirrels and city vistas.

Easy slope up the shady park road with picnic tables on the east side, restrooms, and some steep hiking trails lead up from the west side of the road. There is a small lot at the entrance but also parking along the shady road.
