This is a sweet little airport, I've visited several times. On the surface it doesn't look like much, decent runway with a few hangars and transient tie-downs, no fuel or or other services. But they have a nice little pilot shed / restroom, and the airport is in a beautiful location on the banks of the Willapa river where it enters the bay (a spectacular flightseeing location in its own right). From the tiedown area you can walk across the runway and pick up the dike trail along the shoreline that circumnavigates the airport, with lovely huge trees hanging over the bay. It's a nice place to take a camp chair and wander over for a sit with a book and a snack and watch the shorebirds on the water. There are no official camping facilities on-site but I was told that "flamping" is allowed and it would be a sweet place for it - quiet, remote, with lots of space to pitch a tent.
Unfortunately there's no transportation into town, but the airport manager told me that it's walkable (looks a bit far to me though) and said they'll be putting some bicycles out there soon. Perhaps I or someone will update this with info on getting into town and what that's like.
