I am so happy this place is open to the public again. I grew up coming here every summer. My family always has fun.

I paid the $17 boat launch fee and at the end of the day the manager confronted me saying I didn't pay, which I clearly did. We went back and forth, but I wasn't going to pay an additional $17 ($34 total) to launch my boat due to their incompetence.

Aside from that this is one of the worst boat launches in the area. It's way too steep and the mooring ties are falling off the docks among other things.

I would suggest one of the other launches in the area which are cheaper and won't try to take you for $34 to launch your boat.

As another reviewer posted below, management is most likely on hard drugs.

I've only been here to use the boat launch. There is a steep drop-off almost immediately, so be prepared for that if you launch a boat here. The camp grounds look nice though.
