I barely ever leave reviews, but this experience made me so uncomfortable that I felt compelled to share it. I was in the checkout lane, waiting my turn, and initially thought I was with a really nice cashier. She was having friendly conversations with the people in front of us, treating them kindly and making them feel welcome.
However, as soon as it was our turn, her whole demeanor changed. Not one single word was said to us, and she scanned our items without any care, almost tossing them around. When she finished, she threw our receipt at us and immediately moved on to the next person.
The cashier’s name was Suzanne. I don’t know why she had a problem with us, but it felt like she was judging us based on our race. We felt uncomfortable and mistreated. It’s not fair, and I wanted to write this review to express our feelings and hope that no one else has to go through the same experience.
