August 27th 2024, Tuesday Evening 8 pm, my husband, my daughter, and I were shopping. We had been going there every Tuesday for the past six years, but we decided to stop shopping at Winco. My husband's bank account was hacked, and the bank canceled our debit card. When we bought groceries, the cashier accepted the check, and we went home to bring my husband's check to the manager. However, the manager said they couldn't provide our address and couldn't accept the check. My husband and I were furious and upset. They wasted our time and gas money and gave us wrong information. We were embarrassed, and the grocery fee was $73. Also, we were unhappy with the manager's attitude. Our check had his name and phone number on it, and we still don't understand how they couldn't provide our address. My husband is a white American man from Washington, and our bank is IQ Bank. He has a Washington driver's license. If I had purchased $200 or $300, I might understand, but $73? The manager kept saying it was a company policy. Seriously? We won't be shopping at Winco anymore. Goodbye, but who cares? And nobody cares, right? Just Don't Go.
Today is September 4th Labor Day 4pm I try to buy chicken Deli meat part but.. I saw the Macaroni salad was mess at Showcases.. Kinda gross..
No Credit card’s work but If you had Cash and Debit cards you saved money then any other grocery stores. My family love to eat fried chickens Winco’s fried chickens are way cheaper than Fred Meyer,SafeWay and Walmart Deli. Also my teens drink Gatorades all the time, Doritos of course, candy’s too Winco’s prices are way better and cheaper then others. Credit card doesn’t work that makes me little bit annoyed but it is what it is. Store is busy but customers service is fast and quick.
