They put in self checkout because they're greedy.
Then they got rid of self checkout because they're greedy.
Now the lines are to the back of the store every time I come.
HIRE MORE PEOPLE.

I normally love winco and do most of my shopping here. However, as of late they have removed self checkout and the line is minimum of 30 minutes. Nobody is enforcing their express lane option so the lines are ridiculous no matter where you go. Despite the prices and community being better than Fred Meyer, the lines are forcing me to go to Fred Meyer to be able to shop for what I need. Please hire more checkers or bring back self checkout so we can shop here again. Normally at least 4 stars but these lines are egregious.

Took out self checkout as an anti-theft measure but, now their working class customers get to get off their 10+ hour shifts to sit in line for 1 hour for 1 item. Good thing your customers have good entertainment watching your security guards jog back and forth through the store while the thieves walk right through the maze you put up. Laughable. Hopefully the money you make back from "stopping the thieves" can be put towards paying people a livable wage so you can open more check stands... probably not though.
