I took my vintage Buescher 400 Top Hat down to Shawn, who had previously done a great job rebuilding an ancient Martin soprano for me. The 400 had been having trouble in a couple of spots, especially in the bottom end. Shawn spent over two hours going through the entire horn and fixing a number of leaks and a poorly fitted low Eb key. He also noticed the palm keys were set too open, so fixed that to eliminate the sharpness in that range. The first play test was a revelation! The horn is strong and clear all way to the low Bb, with an even sound throughout. The 400 is very happy, and so am I. Thanks, Shawn!

They did a wonderful bridge repair of my low end 100 year old parlor guitar. Unavailable components were either made from scratch or where appropriate, modified from modern components.

Sean is an exceptional repairman and he has other skilled technicians working with him. I've brought various saxophones in over the years and he has always performed first-rate work at very reasonable prices and is very easy to work with. More than once he has suggested fixes that I didn't know were possible and has really kept my and my son's saxophones operating at top level. A Bay Area resource!
