Overpriced, but one of the only places in the area to get a nice pastry. Their espresso is alright, but you can get much better at the same price throughout the city (even other 'affluent' areas).
Now for the good. Macrons: banging -- haven't had a bad pastry there yet. Good wine selection at various price points. Their freezer has the hard-to-find Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and some darn good oven-heat pizzas (though Della Barba is just across the park). Sandwiches are flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients if you're down for a tougher bread.
The market is a cozy basement, and despite this, they've got an alright selection and have worked out plenty of seating areas on the sidewalk and patio.
Despite my gripes with the prices and middle-of-the-road coffee, Lincoln Park is better with Wine & Butter. I've had good times chilling on the patio with friends and loved ones.
