Location was close to the soccer tournament we were participating in. I was in charge of getting a block of rooms for our team. I was able to finally connect with "June" but even after I sent her the paperwork, my parents still had issues securing their room. One parent gave up and went to a different hotel because the front desk didn't know any better either. When I checked in the front desk lady says......oh I'm glad you're here, I still show 8 rooms under your name!!!! SAYYYYY WHAT!!!?????? So apparently, I didn't need to have each parent reserve their own room under our blocked rooms but just check in under my name and use their CC to pay for charges. Sure would be nice if June would have explained the process correctly!!!!!
However, that wasn't the only issue here.......the rooms were definitely not cleaned well. Later saw 1 young gentleman that was attending the housekeeping cart so I assumed he was the only one cleaning, there was mold in our coffee pot, the shower had old hair in it, floors didn't appear swept.
When I went to go ask for more towels because our family of 4 already used the only 2 that were in the room, the front desk young man said....oh you'll have to wait for towels to come up, housekeeping last night didn't put any towels in last night. I said.....what? I need 2 more towels and I need them NOW! He didn't care, I ended up finding the housekeeping guy and took 2 towels off his cart. Like.....how are you going to deny me needing towels.
The hotel is advertised with a POOL....there is NO POOL ON SITE. The have some sort of agreement with the HEALTH CLUB next door and it's for 18+.....what a pain in the rear and you have to walk across the parking lot to go swim. NO THANKS!
The continental breakfast was sufficient but was disappointed when went to get biscuits and gravy an no gravy left at 9am and it didn't get refilled. Overall this stay was a big let down.
Absolutely atrocious. First off, despite all of the booking agencies advertising, there is no pool nor spa. The room was filthy. Stains all over the carpets, wifi didn't work, and there was no soap. Two tiny bottles of shampoo.... empty, a tiny bottle of conditioner.... empty, a tiny bottle of body lotion.... empty. Oh, let me be clear, empty because they had been used by someone else. Also, at 3 am a bunch of kids decided to run up and down the halls a floor above my room and nothing was done to silence the racket. I chose this hotel specifically because it was advertised as having a pool and spa.
For $210 a night I am appalled. I've had a better stay at hotels in the middle of nowhere for $80 a night. Oh, and in room 137 the air conditioning unit needs service.
