WM provides excellent service. They reliably adhere to the pick-up schedule except understandably, in extremely inclement weather that presents too much of safety risk/concern. The driver in my neighborhood handles the bins with care. He is careful not to spill waste in the process of emptying and returning the bins curbside. He ensures all the trash in the cans are actually emptied and carefully returns the waste bins where the owner placed them for pick-up. I’ve witnessed service along Highway 9 on WM pick-up day where emptied cans are lying on their side on the ground and others carelessly returned curbside with their tops open. So I really appreciate the care with which our driver provides this essential service. Thank you WM!

Two weeks in a row WM broke two of my heavy duty (personal, not rented) garbage cans. They would not reimburse me. They told me it would be best to rent from them. What a crock. So much more expensive than owning. I caved in so they sent a "new" WM trash can. It arrived cracked, spray painted, lid not working and to top it off it still had someone elses trash in the bottom. Worst customer service ever!

By far, WM offers the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. From incorrect phone numbers posted on their website to being passed around from offices all over the country, endless holds that then dump into voicemail, nobody within the sales organization seems to know what anyone else is doing, or how to do it themselves. Except for 'that one guy' - and you'll spend HOURS on the phone being passed around until you maybe - just maybe - encounter that guy (good luck), The fact that this company somehow manages to stay in business is astonishing. If you have ANY other trash-hauling option I strongly urge you to take that one instead. Waste Management is an absolute disgrace, will waste your time, and leave you frustrated to no end.
