My family went here for help yesterday and on their website it states that you can come here for help in emergency situations, that they will help with clothing, gloves, shoes, household items etc, but when asked for help they denied help. All we asked for were some blankets. Not a place you can count on for help from "real people, for real people"

This is an absolutely incredible place with a passion for helping others. They do have a service are to be able to serve those that are in the Woodland area and not run out of resources-not one single food bank has unlimited money or food. There is a huge volunteer team, really good food selection, you are allowed to pick out your own items. There are additional items for hygiene, sometimes socks. The thrift store supports the food bank and is huge and impressive. This is a wonderful team of big-hearted people helping the community. If people don't see what they need the Department of Health and Human Services has a full county resource guide. There are lots of other options to fill additional needs in the county.
