Terrible place... Do not go there, ever! No, actually, the place is pure magic. Incredible as a day trip...even better if you can spend a few nights camping. My ex husband shared this place with me almost 40 years ago. Our daughter is the 4th generation of his family to fall in love with it. His family once had a mining claim there. We have seen its steady increase in popularity over the years which means camping spots are harder to get as they are on a first come availability. The 5 mile hike is moderate and breath taking..the lakes, devine! The stars at night... Oh my. Usually not accessible due to snow until mid July. Enjoy.
