I've used Robert Grant (owner) for years to develop websites for my businesses that I have had. Until recently, my opinion of him was absolutely the best. I've lost track of how many people I have referred his way. A couple of months ago we relocated to a new state and opened a new business but one where I was able to retain my current business name.
I needed to have the current website contact information, services offered and where for example updated. As far as a web development, it seemed pretty simple. I also wanted him to update the business cards and envelopes which for those was a simple address, phone number, etc update and then have them printed via his printing vendor which we had done some many times before.
For the last month, I was just strung along, was told he would contact the printer and make sure everything was processing. I responded, shouldn't I have seen a proof before it was sent to print. The next response I get is he won't be able to assist me and is retiring. So the printer check was an obvious lie. Also if he was truly retiring, no one just on a whim one day decides to retire short of winning the powerball.
So in effect, I was led along for a month for whatever reason I have no idea after close to a decade of wonderful experience with his work. Above that, just having the delays that had he been up front where I could have sought services from another developer has been rather disappointing being all of this could have been completed and online long before now.
