i would just like to send a huge thank you out to "Cindy" a Yakima County Animal control Officer. I had concerns of an ongoing situation located within the County, and Cindy not only responded with a phone call, but actually visited the site and did an evaluation of the animal's living conditions. I am so grateful for her immediate and knowlegable overview of this situation! I also promised her that with having only two Yakima County Animal Control Officers (with limited abilities to address the removal of any abused/abandoned animals) this too would be changing in 2023. Taxpayers are fed up with this, and other ongoing and growing issues pertaining to the treatment & lack of facilities in which to house these animals....soon to be located within this County. Thanks again Cindy for your help and efforts this a.m...they are truly appreciated! Crinn Simmons
