I wish the owner took this studio more seriously. Other YogaSix studios nearby are much better than this one.
Poor policies: They allow cell phones in the class. Yeah, you hear notifications and strange audios from time to time from those cell phones in the class.
Poor management: One day I appeared at the door for a 6:00AM class I booked and was told the class got cancelled.
Inexperienced instructors: Most teachers are inexperienced with a couple of exceptions. Sequences are sometimes dangerous to do. Even the instructors themself would fall. Classes are not structured well even for the more experienced instructors. The classes are very irritating if you have ever practiced yoga for some time.
The only thing I like is its location. I wish there's more competition in this area. That will either force them to pay attention to details or close.
This is my first time taking yoga classes and so far I’m liking it. What I like: 1) Ambience, music and the people 2) Most instructors are really good and very professional. Special shoutout to Lauren - Love her flows and she is very beginner friendly! 3) I’ve attended 101, Restore, Hot and Slow Flow so far. In all these classes, the instructors guide you well enough which is very helpful as a beginner 4) I like the complimentary towels and cleaning supplies given. The place is also kept very clean and has sufficient storage to keep your stuff in
What I dislike: 1) They allow more people in the space than what the space can accommodate. You will often find yourself super close to others which is at times very uncomfortable. You’d have to make adjustments to your poses to avoid hitting your neighbor. Would have been better if the number of students were limited so that mats could be placed further apart. 2) I understand that few of the instructors here are relatively inexperienced, but I felt there are few repetitive mistakes being made in the beginner friendly classes. I found it a bit annoying at times when the instructions were messed up or unclear. Makes it difficult to concentrate on the actual poses. I hope this is taken as a strong constructive criticism.
Apart from these two pain points, the classes are actually very good. Would be happy to update the rating and review in the future if corrective actions are taken.
