Really great service! Overall, we enjoyed the food but what we liked the most was the service provided. I went with my husband and 10 month old baby and they gifted us a plate of rice and beans to accompany the chicken taco we bought for the baby. You must try at least one of everything! My favorite were the tacos de tripa and asada quesadilla. Honorable mention: asada tacos, Al pastor burrito and asada tlacoyos. The place looks small but it actually has a really big seating area. They have the cutest patio out back as well.

I came in yesterday and the owner Rafaela was INCREDIBLY sweet. She recommended the Al Pastor burrito to me and O M G, it was AMAZING. I usually tend to go for asada, but I am glad I took her recommendation. The meat was tender, and had great texture and taste. The rice and beans had great flavor, and the red salsa was a perfect addition. I also got the horchata, which was the perfect drink. Will definitely be going back again. 10/10 food and 100/10 for the great customer service.

Tucked behind the hills of cal state LA is a tiny hole in the wall taco shop. There is a huge tree in front of the restaurant and if you drive too fast on Valley Blvd, you can miss it just like that. The food is amazing. The tacos are grilled in open flame, the owner calls it “Al carbon”, this is exactly how I like it. Years ago before the pandemic, I would go there with my friends after dinner for midnight snack. They would have a giant grill out front, it was bustling with people waiting in line. Now the grill is in the back and they close at 9pm.

I my favorite meats are the carne asada, Al pastor, and chicken. Before pandemic, They had a vegetarian option, which is a jackfruit used as protein. I tried it before and I think it is delicious.
