Zion, her husband, and family have been invaluable to us and our 2 year old son who was 20 months when he started daycare here. It was his first time ever receiving child care full-time and outside of the home, so naturally it was a huge transition for him. Zion and her husband cared for him like their own child, easing our concerns and making us feel confident in our decision despite the big change for us all. Even when he cried for us, refused to nap, and wanted to be held constantly, she and her husband gave him so much love and attention and never gave up on him. Now we drop our son off and he is excited to play with the other kids, sometimes not wanting to leave at the end of the day! After just a couple of months he was reciting the alphabet and counting to 10 (now beyond), but it doesn't feel like the academics here are forced. They truly learn through play. Zion has a genuinely warm and caring heart towards all of the children and shows them how to share and be kind to one another from a place of love and learning. We are so lucky to have found her!

We started sending my son, who is two, to Zion's when we moved to Seattle last year. I was nervous about using a home daycare, but Zion had really great reviews and charged much less than other daycares in West Seattle. I cannot express how lucky we are to have found her. Zion cares about the kids as if they are her own. Every morning when I drop them off (my daughter now goes here too - she's eight months old) she is genuinely happy to see them. I have total trust in her and her family (her husband and children help her). My kids are always happy to see her, and they learn and grow so much in her care. She really is like family.

Zion cares for my two sons, 3-years old and 15-months. She has demonstrated a level of care, love, playfulness, and attentiveness I would only expect of a relative. In fact, Zion has effortlessly become family.

Zion is beyond reliable. While I would never call her in an emergency because I love her too much to do so, I know without a shadow of a doubt that if I needed emergency care at 2 am, Zion would not only answer my call, but be a loving, kind, support... and expect nothing in return. She's gold.

You can find fancier child care in Seattle, but I'm not sure you can find a more gentle, wise, patient, thoughtful, generous provider.
