Zyggi saved my family vacation! Got hit by a drunk driver while in the area on vacation. We had towed our trailer across a couple of states, and now our vehicle could not safely tow the trailer nor safely haul the family and dogs. One place was 1 month out for an appointment just to get an estimate for repair, and another would not touch it to make it road worthy without repairing everything. A third had a phone message clearly telling you NOT to leave a message. Things looked seriously dire!
Then there was Zyggi's. They understood the urgency of being stuck with family and trailer and an unsafe vehicle. They FOUND A WAY!
They saw me the morning after the accident. They ordered parts from Portland (nearest), and the next day I got a phone call at 7:48 am letting me know all the parts had arrived and Zyggi had gone and picked them up already! By that afternoon, 2 days after the accident, I was on the road again.
The vehicle still needs repair from the accident, but Zyggi's scope was not a full repair, just to get me on the road safely with my family. They did. 100%
Zyggi's is the sort of place that one must just relax into. Regardless of YOUR stress level, Zyggi will, step-by-step, with a seemingly laissez-faire attitude, get that _ handled! He is the most seemingly relaxed person I have ever seen just get so much done in a very small amount of time (not just my car, ALL OF THEM).
Don't expect WiFi, tea, or water while waiting. There is a restroom. There are lots of old car manuals and copies of the National Enquirer to entertain you.
If you hand them the cash, and get out of the way, Zyggi and team have got you covered. Just trust the team, take a deep breath and ride the wave.
Thanks again to the team at Zyggi's for rescuing my family and the amazing flexibility demonstrated in getting me in and putting up with my stress long enough to get my family back home. You have been an amazing blessing and a bright spot in a rough vacation!
I bring my Subaru here for oil changes, checkups, and any work that pops up. The cost is comparable (slightly more in my favor) compared to the Subaru dealership. Ziggy and service team answer all of my questions, do amazing work on my car, and charge a fair price. They prep me for what to expect next so I'm not usually surprised with my car's future.
The turn-around for my car's repairs (brake changes, oil changes, axle work, timing belt) has been very reasonable. I usually relax in their customer lounge, studying the Norman Rockwells and reading their selection of zines.
For what it's worth, I'm a female. It's always difficult to find an honest mechanic that won't try to pull the wool over my eyes, which is why I seek out a locally-owned shop. I am always treated with respect and care when I come to Ziggy's. I have never felt talked down to or inferior here.
