Esmeralda is extremely friendly and helpful! She has a large selection of bead work that is completed and for crafting on ones own. The place is filled with colors and a good vibe. Very welcoming and affordable! And on Saturdays, there is free beading class with a signature themed project each week (you pay for the supplies you select). I love this place and absolutely adore the owner. I stop in whenever I can. Check this place out; its pure magic how welcoming and calming this place is.

I’m so glad to have learned about A Better Place to Bead. My husband and I have beaded necklaces, and both of them had clasp issues. They have been repaired beautifully, just like new! We are so very grateful because the necklaces have tremendous sentimental value, and we had been afraid of losing them. The store also has a large selection of beaded jewelry that would make great gifts, so I'll definitely be back.

I've been taking my kids and visiting this feed store for many years in Davis. It's so convenient to visit their new location on Covell next to Nugget market whenever I do the grocery shopping.
The owner is extremely helpful and very friendly. My daughter and I have taken the free classes they offer on Saturdays and learned how to wire wrap jewelry.
They offer birthday parties too which sounds like a lot of fun.
