Liked how they handled the go between with the home owners insurance company and pleased with the finished product. It only took a week to get the job done. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is that they aren’t a local (Bakersfield) company where the house is at and the date given had to be rescheduled to the next day due to tech calling out. Otherwise, a great experience with this company.
7/25/23 UPDATE It’s unfortunate that I have to update my prior review. The work that was done by AC Garage door was bad. On 7/22 the replaced cable broke. The company that came out, king door, stated that the proper cable wasn’t used. It was a self made cable that wasn’t going to last. We have the one that AC used and are willing to show anyone that asks. I have asked our home warranty to not have this company service us or anyone else. It’s a shame that we were given homemade equipment.
These are the nicest people, make that family I've ever met. I chose this place because of the signage/logo. I walked in, was greeted, met their family, blown away by their hospitality! We have a garage door machine that was installed since the early '90s. We just started having issues with it (now 2023). So I took a look around and I found AC garage doors. I've never done this before but I am going to rate them five stars. We've got an appointment coming up for them to look at our Sears Craftsman. The way they treated me, I feel confident knowing that they will take care of me. I will definitely try and leave an update on the job that they did for us.
