Amaya Furniture saved me a lot of money. I was going to junk my old furniture but the owner Alex showed me which pieces were worth keeping and simply reupholstering. Alex is a real craftsman: he understands materials, construction, and how to make an old piece modern and fresh. Upholstery is not cheap, but it’s reasonable if you have a very special piece you can’t find anywhere else!

Incredible work. Alex and his crew refinished and reupholstered a breakfast table and chairs, the final product is better than the original. It’s not just the sanding that’s impressive, it’s the consistency of the bleach and quality of the varnish, not to mention the upholstery is perfectly integrated back into the chair (this time with firmer cushions!), can’t recommend the crew enough for refinishing and reupholstering needs.
