I have had Apex move me twice in the past 5 years. Both times, they had the lowest prices and had very good reviews. They are very hard workers and will ensure all of your belongings go exactly where you want them. They know how many movers and trucks you will need after a short inventory of your house. Both times, they ended up coming in at about $500 under their quotes. Their movers are extremely friendly and quick, but careful. I would highly recommend Apex Moving for any of your moving needs.
Edit: I am changing my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. This is because I had a $1500 treadmill I had bought 3 years prior to this move. I paid $3800 to move all my stuff with Apex. I was worried about the treadmill the most. I asked them to please fold it up and not take it apart. They said they have disassembled and assembled hundreds of treadmills. I had JUST used it at midnight the night before the move. It was like brand new and I used it 5 days a week. The last thing they moved into the new house was the treadmill. I was tired, they were tired, and I forgot to check the treadmill before they left. 5 minutes after they left, I went into the room with the treadmill. The cord was unplugged and in the center of the room. I saw them plug it in after assembling the treadmill earlier. For some reason they unplugged it and left the cord far away from the treadmill and plug in. I plugged it in, nothing. Dead. I called them 5 minutes after they left and left a message to please come back. No response. I called them next day to tell them it is not working. They said they don't normally disassemble these and it was not on them. I had told them not to disassemble. I was assured not to worry. They finally sent out a tech to look at it weeks later. He looked at wiring at bottom, said looks good, would not look at anything else at the top where wiring and electronics are. They never responded again. I bought a new treadmill for $1700 with taxes. So now I have two crammed into my room with an elliptical. Expensive paperweight. I just had a tech come out hoping they could look at the rest of it. He said the wiring at the bottom is a mess and to assess the electronics in the top it would be $500 and no guarantees. It cost $180 for this assessment. So I am out now $1880. The treadmill is built to last 15 years at least. I got 3 years out of it.
This is twice over used Apex moving and storage, first was just a move into storage so insurance could fix my floor. This one was a for a move half way across the country. I wasn't knowing what to think. From the time I first called Billie I knew I was in good hands. She explained everything and answered every question I came up with. I moved the end of April, I just finished unpacking in my new home last week, that's why the delay in doing a review. I knew something had to be broken. Well NOTHING was broken, NOTHING was damaged, everything was perfect. I have nothing but praise for this company. Thank you. From Billy, to James who did the estimate, to the Packers and loaders and truck driver, A+ job!! I wonder if they'll come back here and load me up and bring me back home. I should have been as careful with my decision a they were with all my things. Don't book your move till you talk to Apex! Debbie Alexander
