Overall the clinical staff is attentive, but I've had many issues over the years with the scheduling and billing staff (cancelled/rescheduled appointments with no notice, difficulty getting in to be seen, retainers not available when told to pick them up, billing confusion, etc.). Most recently, they refused to see my daughter because their billing person said she didn't have insurance and insisted they were told by my carrier that she was actually covered by a different one. Part of my job is to manage benefit plans at my employer, so I am confident in my knowledge of our dental plan. When I said that perhaps I should take her where I myself am seen since they are able to find the details of our coverage, I was told OK and to have a nice day by the receptionist - this was said to me in-person after waiting forty-five minutes past my daughter's appointment time, not over the phone. I immediately registered my daughter as a new patient where I am seen and they were able to verify coverage in under five minutes, not to mention get her seen the same day; Apple Valley typically had weeks, if not months-long waits. When my daughter was done with her cleaning appointment, she told me she was glad we switched because "Apple Valley never gave me a cleaning like that before." I always thought their routine cleanings were short and sweet, but never realized how subpar they were to the basic treatment I was receiving elsewhere. The only reason I gave Apple Valley two stars instead of one was because, despite the high turnover, the orthodontists were good at explaining my daughter's braces to her and providing guidance when she didn't want to wear her bands.

Dr. Wise and all the staff @Apple Valley Dental in Sunnyside were very nice and helpful. Dr. Wise actually took the time to look deeper into our concerns and answer all questions. Excellent service!

The staff were great at apple valley in sunnyside with my granddaughter doing terrified in getting anestesia but dr wise and assistant were awesome! Thank you for making my grand daughter very comfortable! Love Dr wise
