Let me save you the headache — do not waste your time or money at AutoNation. My experience? Nothing short of an infuriating, poorly managed circus. I bought my car in 2022, and within a week, a button broke. Simple fix, right? Wrong. I called and set an appointment, but they ordered the wrong part. Another trip, they get the right part but break something else in the process. By the third visit, they finally fixed it, after wasting hours of my time.
To “make up” for it, they offered me three free oil changes. Cool? Not really. Each time, they promised a car wash and vacuum — and failed every single time. Today, at my last oil change, I asked if they could clean my windshield. Nope, that would require a full detail, but they’d still vacuum and wash it. Spoiler alert: they didn’t.
They also mentioned a tire rotation, making it sound like it was included. Then they tell me my cabin filter needs replacing for $97, which I agreed to. But when I get the bill, I’m charged $130 — $30 for a tire rotation I didn’t even ask for. I go to Les Schwab for tire rotations for free.
The final straw? I get in my car, and they hadn’t even vacuumed or washed it, as promised. How can a business be this dishonest and incompetent?
Do yourself a favor and avoid AutoNation. Find a company that actually respects their customers. This place is trash.
