I came in a while back and tried to make a sale.
The moment I walked in I received a weird look from the employee from the front counter. Immediately brushed it off because I'm used to it due to my working background in construction.
I made my offer, and was countered with something that was a bit lower than what I considered fair. Made a comment about the offer but, got the old lines I've heard from pawn shops before. Finally, who I assume was upper management, finished off with, "You could try the shop across the street."
So, that's what I did. Got a better deal, no strange looks and, walked out with cash in hand.

The day I did, I get weird looks and bad deals. Don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
