I’m so grateful a friend told me about Berkeley Community Acupuncture several years ago. The caring and skilled acupuncturists have helped me with all sorts of issues including back and foot pain, sinus congestion, insomnia and stress. Since it’s community acupuncture, they treat patients on a sliding scale starting at $30. Treatment is delivered in a large room with soothing music and lots of air purifiers. Put on your face mask, settle into a recliner, and your acupuncturist will talk to you briefly before applying needles. It’s easy to make and manage appointments with an app. Pro tip: if you’re traveling across a few time zones, come in for ear seeds to help ease the transition.

I have been getting regular acunpuncture treatments at the Berkeley Acupuncture Project from Vignesh and Mary for the past six months. During that time my sleep has improved and my energy level has increased dramatically! I credit the excellent work that they have done for a good part of this very heartening improvement. I recommend them highly. Because they are affordable as well, I have been able to get as much acupunture I have really needed!!

This is a unique and amazing opportunity to receive the benefits of acupuncture. I have used acupuncture for about 30 years and cannot recommend it highly enough. BAP offers a sliding scale between $30-$50 per visit. The treatment is received in an extremely well ventilated room with others in the room, also receiving care. My first visit was odd, because I was accustomed to a private room but I do enjoy (prefer) the group healing atmosphere now. The other main difference here is the use of reclining chairs which make it easy to relax and rest in compared to face down on a table which impedes my breathing.
