Have passed by the place through the years, and decided we needed a roadside burger. Price is high, but it’s understandable. Pretty much burger, coke and fries was around $17, so I just gave them a $20 and let them keep the rest, cause I could tell the workers hustled and also had to deal with tourists all day and that can cause lots of strange unesscesqary stress that it brings (I live in a tourist town as well). Had a standard cheeseburger, sauce seems to be a honey mustard style rather than relish, which I prefer the honey mustard style, so this was good. The fries came out fresh and hot and they stayed warm the whole time while eating. If you want a nostalgic not greasy burger with good fries and probably a shake, then go here.
Cash only with an atm available. Drove by here a number of times while vacationing nearby. Made a note to stop and it did not disappoint. Burgers are big, good and clearly made to order. Shakes are decent as well. Nothing mind blowing, but a good stop on along the way. Not fast food, and on a sunny day May be worth sitting to eat and people watch. The road nearby is busy and traffic was a too little fast to feel comfortable walking across the street with Little ones. Union rings are thick cut and lightly battered. Chicken strips were average.
