My absolute favorite Indian supermarket in the East Bay. The owners and staff are so inviting, informative and, above all, kind. Whenever I go there, as a non-Indian, who practices Ayurveda and cooks a lot of Indian food, they are always so helpful in helping me find the spices that I need. In addition they have incense, and puja items, and a beautiful selection of ghee, and Ayurvedic superfood that I use every single day. I feel like I am shopping with my family, as their kindness and patience with me. I often stop on my way to hike on Mt. Tam, and "Jackson" has been so kind to introduce me to some snacks. When I was looking for herbs to make a hair oil, Brahmi, Amla, and Bringraj, they had it! Patronize these wonderful and kind people -- they deserve your support as they contend with huge corporate supermarkets. Blessings to All.

For anything that wasn’t there in the store the manager had an excuse that the product is stopped or banned or not coming from india. 2 minutes later we found the very thing we were looking for in the store. Useless storekeeper, and a cheat
