It's a hit or miss, but usually a miss. Vegetables I bought from there are sometimes yellow or even being sold moldy. They sell moldy fruits for $1 and cut off the molded parts so that they look presentable. The meat also doesn't look like it was kept well either.
For a Chinese supermarket, look clean enough, but for any other standard, it is not very clean..
Sometimes their cash registers are malfunctioned and don't take cards and the cashiers become rude to you for not having other payment methods. This is poor customer service.. You should not be the one paying for their mistakes..
They have lost me as their customer..
For me, this will always be the original 順發超級市場 (Shun Fat Supermarket). Sad they no longer hold this location. Anyhow... Wow. They actually had enough cash registrars open! Can't say that about other grocery stores. This place is a bit pricier than some other supermarkets in the area, but still not expensive enough that I won't hit it up. From the outside it looks like they're closed for business, because some windows are boarded up (or have giant wooden shelves covering up the windows to give that affect), the windows are so heavily tinted it's hard to tell if the lights are actually on,, and one of their old doors have the cage closed on it. BUT, once you find the main entrance, everything is brightly lit inside.
