The ramen was tasty. They gave a huge portion of chashu for it, too! The seating was cozy without being too small and the place was relatively quiet. Typical top hits music playing. No table service here, so you have to go up and order, pay, then go grab it yourself when it's ready. No big deal, just different from the other Botan in Everett.
The crab rangoon weren't what I was expecting- they were very pricey for the amount you get (4 rangoon with the tiniest portion of sweet and sour sauce I've ever seen- it was about 1 tablespoon worth at most) and the rangoon were weirdly sour- or tart? I think they put a bit too much vinegar in them and it threw me off quite a lot.
The atmosphere was pretty nice though! The temp wasn't too hot. Bathroom was clean when I used it, and they even had extra hand soap set out.
Excellent ramen based upon Everett standards, but middle when comparing bto sa Francisco and cend downtown seattl. It's aNice clean little place. Seems like it's ran by husband and wife so not big on chit chat or customer service but very fast and good food.
Pictured is custom spicy tokontsu with tofu onions and bean sprouts ($16.50 with tax). Had to spice it up more with Sriracha. If I come back or if you are new I would skip the custom order and just go directly to the chef specials (photo of chef special also attached) as they are cheaper and have more ingredients.
