Interesting to see that Karen had the same experience we did with both of our parents. On top of the extreme over medication (we also felt the supervisor was the problem) we learned of multiple injuries we were never notified of. One of which was an extremely broken finger and when we asked about it, the response was that it's not like he would have surgery so instead they did NOTHING. I thought that our experience was because families could not visit during the pandemic so there was no oversight. But seeing the date ranges I am sickened by the practices of this facility.

My mother attended Brookdale Nine mile from March 2019 until June 2019. They overmedicated my mother along with other residents in the facility. She was always in drugged state. I hope the supervisor is no longer working there as I felt she was the problem. I pulled her out as fast as I could. I do not recommend this place at all for memory care.

Your loved ones will end up neglected. Bedridden patients being left unfed, others in bed til 10 am without help getting up and missing breakfast, showers once every two weeks. And managers that don’t help or care. Beware
