Quick Summary Great barbecue in a dive bar/brewery spot. Would recommend the Bubba's Feast to try multiple proteins and sides. My favorites were the pulled pork and brisket.
Food- 5 stars We got lucky and they gave us extra meat on the Bubba's Feast. Also tried the Korean Ribs and Blue Cheese Chips
Blue Cheese chips- these were good and I loved them because I'm a huge blue cheese fan
Korean ribs- these were good but pretty standard. It's not the traditional short rib, but still decent
Bubba's Feast- this included 2 pounds of meat, 3 large sides, salad and bread. We tried the Kielbasa sausage, Louisiana Hot Sausage, brisket, and pulled pork. By far, the brisket and pulled pork were the best. The brisket isn't the best in the world, but juicy and plenty of flavor. The pulled pork was the best protein of the meal
Corn on the cob, sidewinder fries, and corn on the cob- all of these sides were good. Pretty standard
Service- 5 stars Our server was great and accommodating throughout
Bottom Line Would highly recommend checking out Bubba's for a great barbecue meal if you're around the area. Try the pulled pork!
Great southern-style BBQ! I was craving some BBQ the day after the 4th of July, and I found it way out in the desert in CA. The beef brisket was tender and soft lathered in their house bbq sauce, accompanied by 1/2 slab of pork ribs(fall of the bone), homemade potato salad with vegetables, and cornbread. Would do it again and again.
