Went to Canadian tire in Castlegar to purchase the swifter power mop that is our advertised on TV for 29.99 only to find that it’s on the shelf there for 39.99. We asked the clerk about it and she said “oh it’s probably a mail in rebate”. No Rebate in the box and I phoned swifter corporation and they said that Canadian tire is choosing to sell it for $10 more. Phoned Canadian tire corporation and they said that that is the store choice to up the advertised price.. Walmart and Amazon sell it for $29.99 so that’s where I’ll make my purchase now and in the future.

Whenever i go here its always a bad time. I don't recommend making any large purchases here as they will find any reason not to do the return when all pieces are returned in their original packaging 4 hours after purchase. Staff and m.o.d was very dismissive. Extremely poor customer service.
