I visited the store today, July 25th, at 12:25 PM to purchase a smoke detector that was advertised on sale. At the checkout, DANIELLE informed me that the sale price was incorrect due to a misplacement in inventory. Despite this, they refused to honor the displayed price. After confirming with the manager, DAVE, they still would not honor the price after 30mins of walking around the store, confirming price , waiting for an associate to confirm on the phone. Wasted my time as a customer waiting and misleading me throughout the process of buying.
This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I won't be returning and will shop at Home Depot or Rona instead.

I give up on Canadian Tire. Rarely any employees around to ask anything, and when you do find someone or get someone on the phone they either don't know or give you incorrect information. I found an item elsewhere for cheaper, called to ask if they'd price match another company's price. They said yes no problem. Drove to the store, got the item, and then was told no at the cash desk. Called the manager who also said no.

We bought a Matrix 4000 Table Tennis Table on Thursday July 18, 2024. We picked it up from the store and upon unpackaging, to our disappointment, found a couple of small dents on the table. We spoke to customer service on Saturday afternoon, showing them the pictures with the damage. We were not looking to return or exchange as the table is super heavy and took 2 strong men to lift. We would be open to any kind of decision to rectify the situation. To our frustration, the supervisor's (Mike) response was anything but customer care. He showed no empathy and offered no apology. He insisted that the pictures are not sufficient and we would have to haul in the table for him to inspect, really?. We cannot comprehend his senseless statement. His snobbish attitude puts Canadian Tire to shame.
