I am a former employee of Chateau @ Valley Center. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The staff are great and the benefit aren't bad either but for me, it was the residents who made this place a second home to me. It was very hard for me when I moved north and transferred to Chateau @ Bothell Landing. I didn't want to meet and get to know the residents there the way I had in Renton. It didn't feel the same. The care that I gave and that the resident's receive at Chateau @ VC is that of incomparable excellence. The kitchen, I know, is run like a ship, since Michelle became the Sous Chef. She takes her responsibility seriously and takes the time to really listen to the concerns and feedback from the residents; and although she seems tough, she is one of the most caring and sincere individuals I've ever met. I would recommend Chateau @ Valley Center ten times over.
