I contacted Chelan Realty after stumbling on an old real estate sign adjacent to another I was interested in buying. I called and was assured it was active and they told me the listing price. I made an offer based on that information. It turns out it was an expired listing (years old) and the listing price was much higher at the time. I never heard back regarding my offer other than a verbal v.m. after pestering them for a response. My offer was a "low ball" one based on what they told me, so no surprise. Nothing in writing. I was told it was listed and relisted within a day when I questioned them about the validity of listing status. I checked with another real estate agent with a different company and they told me that it was never relisted. This is criminal, unprofessional, and very disturbing. Please look elsewhere if you ar list or buy in the Chelan area.
