I had a truly fantastic experience all around at Claire's in Auburn.
I wondered in without an appointment, on a whim, to see if they could pierce my upper lobe. Admittedly, I am in my 30s, and it's been a minute since I've had had my standard lobe pierced (pretty sure I was fourteen at the time). For some reason I had built the process up in my head to be far more painful than it actually was, and it helped that the Claire's associate had the absolute BEST bedside manner. Truly.
She would dot and re-dot the piercing location on my ears until I was absolutely positive on where the hole would go, and she thoughtfully counted down with me (three, two, one) before punching the lobe. It was by far the best experience I've ever had and I only wish that everyone could have a similar experience. Even with no appointment and quite a bit of nervous energy, I was still made to feel like her top priority, and she very patiently talked me through the entire process. And I got a 20% coupon to use in-store that day on any product I'd like.
