I have worked with Cynthia Carrera in previous years. She is a brilliant creative therapist and knows how to help kids with a wide range of disabilities. I have worked with many speech therapists in my 25 +years of experience with kids with special needs and she is one of the most talented speech and language therapists I have worked with. Cynthia is a superb speech-language pathologist. She uses evidence based treatment methods, is bilingual (speaks advanced Spanish) and has wonderful interpersonal skills. Her clients feel safe and make gains. She has wonderful rapport with families and can also help coordinate care even outside of speech therapy (OT, PT, PSYCH etc). She's a master clinician. Those lucky enough to get on her caseload, should take advantage of her time. If I have one negative complaint, it's that more providers are not like her. Simply put, she's fantastic.
