Never fails! Jon is "KING" when it comes to providing our family with excellent customer sevice well except the replacement radiator overheated I was told there was no anti freeze it was just water I was charged for Anti freeze. Hmmm....
I brought my 2001 Z06 to this shop in 2016. I was getting errors on my DIC Display about Traction Control/Active Handling system needing to be serviced. I dropped the car off and waited. The next day I got a call saying that they tried to plug into the computer to diagnose the issue and couldn't get a good connection. My grounds must be dirty. They charged me $300 to clean my grounds on my car. After I had picked up my car I went out to a client in Santa Fe Springs the next day. Half way there my instrument panel, radio and HVAC controls started acting weird and then I smelled a burning smell. The DIC Display and Temp displays both died. The next day I went back to the shop and told them what happened. They didn't want to do anything about it and said my IPC must have went bad. I explained that I just had my IPC replaced. They told me to check with who replaced it. Unfortunately for me it was replaced 13 months prior and the warranty was expired. Just recently I fixed the IPC myself by replacing a board that fried inside. I took the car on a trip to Vegas for the weekend. After coming back I see that I'm still getting the same Active Handling/Traction Control errors that I had been getting before they allegedly cleaned my grounds.
This shop might do good mechanical work, which I can't say because I have not had them work on the car mechanically, but I don't trust their ability to diagnose electrical issues. After working on the car myself I have seen some of the grounds and they don't look like they were ever touched.
It's really sad because I was hoping this place could be my go to place for taking care of my car. I'm sadly very disappointed.
