Dina Brown is an outstanding art appraiser. She appraised neon art pieces I donated to a museum. It required expert research, an on-site visit to the museum to appraise and photograph the works, and a knowledge of taxes and tax forms to assure the works received the designation of donated works. She understands the difference between museum and market value, which she carefully and patiently explained to me. Dina is responsive, efficient, and a very cool person to work with. She spent many unbilled hours making sure my appraisal was accurate and professional. I give her an 11 out of a maximum of 10
Dina Brown is the best gallerist in Los Angeles. Her inventory is unbelievable. Combined with her network, she can track down that "holy grail" everyone needs for their collection, or walk you through your first purchase. Her appraisals are professional, accurate, and founded in impeccable market research.
Honestly, even if none of that was actually true, I'd still use Dina, because Dina is awesome. She's a pleasure to deal with, and puts in the extra mile for her clients. She's the best, period.
