Great place, always clean and everything is nice and I've only ran into staff a few times and they seem ok, not overly friendly, but not rude or disrespectful. It's rare to find employees that are cheerful and make you feel valued. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they do anything bad or anything, just saying that workers used to great customers with a smile and "hello welcome to" or whatever, idk maybe it's that every young person just had to complain until the min wage was raised so the powers that be raised the price of everything even higher than before compared to min wage before if that makes sense. Whoa didn't mean to go off the track so bad, anyway as far as I can tell, Dwight Merkel is great, oh and they have a really nice BMX track in back that I wish we would have had one like it in Sunnyside WA where I grew up. It's so cool to go when they are having events or whatever and the little tiny kids out there racing. It's great. I never went to or drove back and looked at the Joe Albi stadium, I know I've heard a lot of people and the memories they have, it kinda saddened me that it was tore out and the name replaced or changed, idk the details why or anything, but it looks to me like the Dwight Merkel complex is quite useful and servers more people than a stadium. Anyway, good job keeping the place clean and a great outlet for kids and adults there's really not much out there for anyone. Oh and they have a really nice skate park.

This place is great! I love the setup for baseball- my sons leagues play here and it’s hands down the best field set up in Spokane. Also, the Spike and Dig tournament happens here every year in August and it’s amazing!

Great sports complex and it's very clean & safe. Splash pad, playground, softball fields, football field, skate park, and you can run/walk laps around the complex. Bathrooms are open in summer.
